While raised in a Christian home, my faith really became my own later on in life…like 40 years later! God graciously protected and guided me through those years and brought me to a place of realizing my need for a Savior. Since moving to La Crosse I’ve enjoyed participating in a great Bible Study that has grown my faith and gratitude for God’s grace to me
I was just filling in as church secretary…and that temporary position became permanent and fairly extended. Staffing the church office is a little nutty - no 2 days are the same! Since I’m often the first point of contact a person has with the church, I try to welcome each person with compassion, kindness and grace.
I’m active in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), a women’s philanthropic organization (PEO) and a long-term restoration of an old home here in La Crosse. When sunny days beckon – I enjoy gardening and hiking. On dreary, cold days I delight in a good book.
Prior to moving to La Crosse I was a Landscape Architect, primarily working in large scale land development and with a county Planning and Zoning Dept.
Bucket list item: Hike some more of the Appalachian Trail
