Good Friday Worship (Sanctuary)

In this somber service, we recall Jesus’ crucifixion and death. On even years, we practice a “Tenebrae” service in which the Sanctuary get progressively dark as the crucifixion narrative is read. On odd years, the service is centered on the stations of the cross, each of which is accompanied by scripture reading, artwork, and a brief meditation or reflection from the preacher.
