Taylor Haley
Pastor/Head of Staff
I grew up in a strong Christian home – so “strong” that when I went away to college I wanted nothing to do with faith or ministry. I was running away hard until my professor William Romanowski taught and lived in such a way that it became apparent that faith should and could impact every aspect of our lives. With this breach in my roadblock I came to faith my senior year and experienced God’s call to ministry.
Given my own experience, I desire to see people come alive in their pursuit of Christ and make their faith more than just Sunday morning.
I serve as Board President of WAFER – our region’s largest food pantry. I’m also a Board Member of the Transforming Center, a national ministry that cares for the souls of pastors and Christian leaders. I also serve on the Executive Committee of the Coulee Region Prayer Consortium and on the City of La Crosse Ethics Board.
I enjoy travel, adventures and simple family time with my wife Cami, and adult “kids” Jessica, Chet and Hudson . I also like to swim, bike and run. Is hot-tubbing a hobby?
I recently completed my two biggest bucket list items – competing in the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii and biking across the country. Next up is to bike the length of the Mississippi, probably in segments.
I graduated with my BS in Business Administration from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. I received my Master’s of Divinity (M.Div.) from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, then my Doctor of Ministry degree (D. Min.) from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.
