Position Summary

The Facilities Care Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the ministry, mission, and hospitality of First Presbyterian Church. This position helps ensure that the church building and grounds are clean, safe, secure, welcoming, and well-maintained for worship services, ministry programs, community activities, staff, members, and visitors.

The Facilities Care Coordinator works independently while coordinating with church staff, volunteers, and the Buildings and Grounds Committee. This position requires a service-oriented attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating an environment that reflects the church's values of hospitality, stewardship, and care for its facilities.

Purpose of the Position

The Facilities Care Coordinator is responsible for the care, maintenance, appearance, safety, and day-to-day readiness of church facilities and grounds. The position supports worship, ministry, fellowship, and community use of the church by ensuring that spaces are properly maintained and prepared for a wide variety of activities and events.

The Facilities Care Coordinator serves as a key partner in maintaining the church's facilities and supporting the ministries of the congregation through excellent stewardship of church property and resources.
